Not everyone needs 2-3 bed apartments . Some couples don’t plan on having kids and 1 bed apartments(which there is NOT a lot of here in Ireland ) would suit us plenty , also plenty of single people out there . 1 bed apartments would go a long way to help relieve some of the stress on the market today

We do need more studios and one beds for singletons but they need to be proportionally cheaper than two beds.

The banks always seem to be reluctant to give mortgages for 1 beds as there is no option to rent out another room like you can with a 2 bed.
