No sense waiting for Putin’s stooges to be walked into a jail cell a few years from now. Aim at Putin’s defeat and let the rest follow. Such a plan will have broad support, and those that must be dragged kicking and screaming will realize that outcome as their false idol in Moscow goes down like the Titanic.

Europe has a real problem if the US does pick up its ball and go home. European NATO has massive capability gaps and hollowed out militaries from years of stripping out capability. Even if European nations go on a crash build program they are years away from covering all the gaps the US will leave when it walks away.
