Ciao ragazzi,

Looks like its been renovated with the cheapest materials possible, like the cheapest.

    4. First of all it’s an apartment even though it looks like a detached home. You don’t own the building and you don’t make the decisions alone.

Second, there is at least one big renovation in early stages of planning.

Looks like it used to be two apartments and the separating wall was knocked down to form one bigger apartment

There have been issues with moisture and indoor air quality in this co-op, which may reflect in the price. Translate the text to English if you don’t understand the done and upcoming renovations.

I agree that the area itself is the best in Espoo (excluding the aircraft noise), and houses generally are expensive and in high demand.

    7. Issues that might affect the price that i see are:

They are considering doing a pipeline renovation evaluation. Pipeline renovation can cost 10 000€-20 000€. Price is just a quess.

There have been some issues with indoor air quality in row b. Indoor air problems can be a bitch so you need to carefully consider that.

Check the house, get papers about that indoor air problem if possible. Dont trust the realtor, they only want to sell the house and have almost 0 responsibilities ( like they cannot outright lie or fabricate things ). Get in touch with the chairman of the housing company if possible about yhe issues yoj have. He/she might give the best answers.

Looks like it is two smaller apartments renovated into one bigger one, hence the two doors in the opposite sides of the house.

Electric heating is going the drive cost of living up. Try to find out how much electricity previous owners used the last couple of winters. Place might look nice but if the insulation is not good then you are going to burn money on heating.

No sauna but if you can live without it then all good.

All Gram appliances in the house. Cheap brand but I have no idea are they reliable.

This looks like a place that someone bought, renovated the whole place and is now selling it trying to make a profit. The place looks like noone has lived in it after the renovation. You should go look how it looks irl and try to find out as much about the renovations as you can. Also there should be some kind of official building inspection certificate that says there are no hidden problems. Without that I would not buy it.

Others already commented on the technical sides, so I’ll comment on the layout. This is entirely a personal preference, but I don’t like bedrooms sharing a wall, if there are kids in the house for sound proofing reasons in both directions. Also the lack of storage space is would concern me. Those bedrooms aren’t big to start with, and adding storage to them will make them even smaller.
