Perhaps we should start asking *why* these people feel the need to come here, and remedy the reasons why?
Israel risking a Chernobyl style disaster in Iran by blowing up nuclear sites is going to lead to a massive exodus in the Middle East btw, and if they succeed then there will be millions more migrants coming to Western Europe.
I wonder what happened that gave every single failed asylum seeker across Europe the chance to reapply in the UK?
There has to be an automatic denial for anyone who arrives like that. It’s fucking dangerous and allows criminals to profit from people if we just say an automatic no for certain methods it will encourage them to use the legal methods we have in place to process them.

The refugee conventions aren’t fit for purpose. The longer the politicians pretend like it’s a religious text that shouldn’t be touched, the worse the situation is going to get and we will reach a point of no return. The politicians keep wasting time and money with their “stop the boats” and “smash the gangs” ideas without fixing the root cause
