“Hairy molly” comes from the Irish word for eyebrow/s, mala/malaí.
Didn’t touch it, apparently the spikes can cause skin irritation 🤔
Used to see loads of them, haven’t seen one in a few years.
Always knew them as gods horses
Remember getting swarmed by them in the states in May/ June, they were all gone by July. Nasty little creatures
