If only Europeans cared half as much about local politics as they did about American politics.

It was a pretty impressive display of peaceful demonstration. Nearly every town in my region had people gather by the thiusands and wave signs.

Embarrassing obsession with American politics, focus on home.

Can we maybe have at least one day a week where a forum dedicated to Europe doesn’t revolve around the fucking US-president?

Americans voted trump democratically, and in Europe we have to accept the democratic outcome of American elections, just like Americans accept the outcome of European elections. In 3-4 years they will vote someone else, and I’d advice to just let their Liberal party prepare and see, if they can win a majority next election. We have enough extremely big problems in Europe to deal with.

As an American, I’m confused by this. Why are people in the Netherlands protesting the US president?
