>TDS FROM SINN Féin, Labour, the Social Democrats, the Green Party and People Before Profit have urged the public to take part in a housing protest outside Leinster House later today.
As a renter, I won’t be attending.
These protests are essentially political rallies for these parties. I won’t be voting for any of these parties so they don’t represent me.
You can’t outbuild unlimited demand, so not trying to solve the demand side of the supply/demand equation is just fairytale stuff.
Some cheek of the Green Party by the way, they propped up FFG for the last 5 years.
The Green Party have some neck, they facilitated FFG calling the early November election last year so they could lie about the 2024 housing figures.
