      In fact, I’m surprised this is not at the top, because THIS strike today (see photo) was a really bad civilian hit, a drone directly hit a residential building, and it blew up. Not the wrecks “like usual”. You can see from the pictures that one vertical block was completely destroyed, top to bottom

      Ukraine: destroys russian aircrafts, no civilian was harmed.
      Russian response: killing people in their homes, destroying residential buildings.

      Night time attacks are generally better for preventing civilian casualties. Most people are hidden in big concrete blocks and not running around outside.

      Such high losses indicates there was likely a direct strike against a building rather then your typical debris.

      Off topic: there was some discussion about how much longer these old commie-blocks still have in terms of lifespan. All these rockets and bombs are making me think these buildings aren’t as brittle as I thought!

      Those drones used by Russia were made and provided by Iran. Ukraine has already cut diplomatic ties with Iran. In 2023, imposed long-term sanctions against Iran due to Iran’s complicity in the invasion. This includes a complete ban on bilateral trade for 50 years.  82% of Ukrainians have a negative attitude towards Iran.
