Epic. I am 32 years old, I can’t wait for the next big project that will change the fortunes of this country and improve the lives of everyone, only for it to be for long after I am dear. Paying taxes becomes less and less enjoyable.
Yay 8 more years until we can get from London to Birmingham or vice versa 20 minutes quicker whilst the rest of the UK will still have train services from the stone age…
OK cool then might as well reinstate the legs to Manchester and Leeds. Hell might as well finish the job properly and get it up to Glasgow or Edinburgh with all that extra time to faff about with for fucks sake, then at least it gets more planes out of the sky.
