I corrieri che scelgono di continuare come imprenditori operebbero più o meno come prima, ad esempio prendendosi cura dei contributi del datore di lavoro e della pensione.

    Se il corriere sceglie il percorso dei dipendenti, tali pagamenti di benefici sarebbero effettuati da Wolt, ma il corriere riceverebbe solo una quota fissa – il 65 percento – della tassa da ogni consegna.

    Attualmente i corrieri Wolt sono pagati per consegna, ma l’importo varia in base a diversi fattori, tra cui la distanza percorsa, il valore dell’ordine e l’ora del giorno.

    In Finlandia Wolt attualmente impiega oltre 10.000 corrieri, spesso immigrati che hanno difficoltà a ottenere altri lavori. Yle riportato questa settimana Che alcuni possano affrontare la deportazione a seguito della decisione di riferimento del mese scorso da parte della Corte amministrativa suprema. Ci sono 20.000 persone in coda per ottenere una licenza per diventare un corriere Wolt.

      why would one take job as a courier for these shit companies? I feel almost if they would be better of with welfare seeing how shit those terms are for these companies for employees/”entrepreneurs”

      Usually when it is decided that someone is an employee instead of entrepreneur (for example, when limited company is dissolved by tax authority because it is seen as tax evasion), the company that has been paying the entrepreneur’s company must pay the salary additional costs on all the money paid (palkan lisäkulut) as that money is seen as salary to a private person, and the recipient of payment must pay salary income tax on all the money received (without expense deductions like a company could do, ilman vähennyksiä). That is done for the last 5 years, I would guess.

      If they really do that, it might mean that Wolt goes bankrupt. That additional cost is not small. It is also propably economical catastrophy for all the ex-entrepreneurs.
