Fun fact: this photo was taken 7 days before Ceausescu’s execution

Lets see how much this Israeli boot-licking post gets upvoted.

    3. Amd the US has learned nothing from Iraq and Afghanistan. But hey, it looks like a lot of EU leaders have bad memory as well

    4. If you want war with Iran, know that you are a tiny minority. Even in the U.S., 60% of Americans want to be uninvolved in any Israel-Iran conflict vs. 16% who do. The gap will almost certainly be wider in any European nation. If you want war with Iran, you’re an extremist.

    5. I literally discussed Ceaucescu with a friend today. As an example to the embarrassment the Iranian might feel if they get their hands on Khamenei. You probably want to judge him and then get rid of him asap. I am not saying it’s right (not that I feel any empathy towards Khamenei, but law has its own purpose), but what’s the alternative ? He’s no Kruschev. He won’t sit idly in the Iranian equivalent of a datcha, even though he’s just so old. And too many people have grievances. One may feel that’s a reason to keep him alive but it’s not, because these grievances can’t be addressed. The only way is to start a new chapter.

And the u.s. didn’t learn anything from overthrowing a democratic Iranian govt in 1953. Iran has every reason to be hostile to the USA and its partners. And if you interfere in their business, they have a habit of making it very painful for everyone.

Usually when a country attacks another one we condemn them. So let’s condemn Israel and the USA, if they join in, for initiating this.

Netanyahu has been saying Iran would have a bomb in 2 years for the last 20 years. Why should he be allowed overstep the inspectors?

What exactly should he have learned from Ceaușescu? As a Romanian I can tell you that there is no parallel between the two situations.
