This is exactly the proof that these parades are still needed.
This will be the biggest pride in budapest supposedly and hungary got around 40k police officers im wondering how theyll manage probaly poorly
Pride started as a protest. Perfect time to show the police what that looks like.

The Budapest Police Headquarters issued a ban on a non-existent assembly, and with that power they could have banned the walking of unicorns.
Since the Municipality of Budapest did not make a notification according to the Assembly Act, the ban is irrelevant.
The Municipality of Budapest will organize the Budapest Pride Freedom Festival as a municipal event on June 28, Hungarian Independence Day. And that’s it.

The mayor of Budapest, Gergely Karácsony is a badass! This is the second time the government tried to ban the Pride, but he found a workaround again. This man is on the warpath and will not back down!

Opression breeds resistance. They more of the liberties they take away from us, the more violent, radical and far reaching our pushback will be.
The only division there is, is between the rich and priviliged and the poor and opressed. And there is a whole lotta more of us than them.
