Cyprus has managed to have similar living standards with Western Europe. This map shows the median income adjusted for PPP which is a metric that gives a satisfying picture of what the average joe makes (very rich people and tax schemes who skew gdp per capita are adjusted here since it’s median and adjusted for purchasing power).
