That’s expected… there is a reason we have some many blue flag beaches
To give some context, the quality is measured on the amount of e coli and other shit bacteria in the water.
So Cyprus scores high because we have a good sewage system, we don’t have a lot of rain or any rivers that collect effluent and runoff as they pass through cities and we don’t have inland bathing areas like lakes or rivers that are more susceptible to pollution from sewage.
What does bathing water even mean? Sea? Fresh water? Swimming pool? Bathtub?
Sounds BS, we don’t have drinking water! How can our water be so clean yet not drinkable?
