Retrial scheduled for October 14th 2025. Prosecution argued the accused is a flight risk and in doing so had his bail raised.
It’s sort of crazy in this case he has to stay in prison until the retrial in 5 months
I remember someone posting up some of his social media posts here. He seemed at best a total creep and at worst a danger to women. This was shit his family and all could see and one was about his wife even.
Before any harsh comments.
Legal journalism is a sham. They leave out certain facts or statements made obiter dicta, just for a big headline.
The court system is like this for a reason. There are genuinely reasonable causes for this. It is to protect the innocent including YOU (you’d be shocked how easy it is to be innocent and find yourself in trouble with the law). The whole “it will never be me” mindset is myopic.
Don’t jump to conclusions based of legal journalism which only reports a quarter of the story. If ye want the full story wait until the judgment.
And then comment. It is a process of reason.
