The economic decline is inevitable. Years of war economy and a dwindling poulation due to emigration and the ridiculous loses in this stupid war. And on top of that, of course, isolation. Even worse, he dismissed potential allies like Armenia and loses others like Iran. To be fair, he still has Trump, but they are on their own path of isolation. Putin did not realize that China is his true enemy. Looking forward to Haishenwai. Eventually China can put so much pressure on them, that they just have to give it to them.
The next years are going to be very tough for the ordinary Russian. For the ones who oppose Putin, I am sorry, for the rest, you reap what you sow.
But I was told again and again and again on Reddit that sanctions were doing nothing.

Here’s the truth folks. Russia is NOT a vast country. It’s a vast ramshackle EMPIRE – a mishmash of disparate colonies serving Moscow and St Petersburg and only held together by fear and lies.
The one thing Russians have a natural talent for is spreading fear and lying.
BBC, Is that a deliberate screencap to make him look like a saint!
Good! Let the people of Russia feel some pain.
Clever of him to work out that it’s us Brits that really control everything. I thought we hid that quite well.
