Come cittadino non UE che non parla ancora fluentemente tedesco, sono abbastanza preoccupato per la mia situazione. 1. You are required to inform the ABH within 2 weeks of receiving notification of your contract termination that your contract has been terminated. The ABH will inform you if they want to shorten your permit, however, as long as you can cover all your expenses, they probably won’t make you leave soon.
2. As long as you’ve been actually making unemployment insurance contributions in Germany, you are eligible for unemployment benefits.
3. No. You are not eligible for an NE as a Blue Card holder if you no longer have a Blue Card job.
Q1: yes, they can extend it at their discretion. Note: they do not have to (and if the job market is “highly competitive”, chances are that they will be less accommodating).
Q2: yes.
Q3: You can apply, but without a new job, it will likely be denied.
Q4: You should ask for a positive Zeugnis, as you it will help with the job search.

A “Zeugniss” aka. reference. Not that common with non German companies, highly relevant in Germany, and something most if not all HR people in Germany will ask for.
Someone can correct me if this is wrong, but you should be able to apply for a 1 yeae chancenkarte while you look for work and use your ALG1 as proof of income during that time. This will give you some breathing space to find a new position.
After 25 months on a2: wtf? It seems you dont learn seriously enough!
