      Sadly this would escalate dramatically thanks to AI.

      A few years back you could easily tell you are talking to a Nigerian prince or somebody in a call center in India due to accent/grammar. Now they are just going to use AI and edit it a bit.

      I am kind of surprised matching with bots happens to young women too though. Was pretty certain the bots are almost exclusively targeting men or older women.

      Honestly, it’s hard to have sympathy.
      Stupid people have always been scammed and always will be.

      I miss the days before the normies discovered the internet. Back then everyone in dating apps was an interesting early adopter, and most people thought anyone on the internet must be a nutter.

      The easiest way to spot any scammer no matter how good they may be is to put yourself in a mindset of:

      Are the questions I’m being asked going to involve me giving answers that could be used in a form or to check into a hotel or something?

      So, if you use your real name then spell it slightly different to the norm.

      If asked where you are based? Say I’m very close to then pick somewhere close.

      Are you married? Single? Reply mm well, I’m on a dating app looking.

      Always keep a PAYG number for all online communications like WhatsApp, snapchat, discord, etc etc, then it can’t be used to find your other private social medias or trace you too much.

      The occasional few that do play the long game will at some point have some sort of tragedy to play on your heart strings once they think you are fully invested in them, I love playing with them types, so much fun.
