So basically as far as the US government is concerned, if you hire a woman, it’s DEI, if you hire a person of any colour other than white, it’s DEI, if you hire anyone with a disability, it’s DEI, if you hire anyone not straight, it’s DEI, if you hire anyone who identifies as a gender that doesn’t match their sex, it’s DEI, if you hire anyone from a lower socio-economic class, it’s DEI, and so on and on.

But these cunts can appoint their family members, their friends, their fellow sex offenders etc, to high ranking positions both in government and corporate interests, and that’s completely fine apparently.

I hope we boycott any companies that fall in line with this bullshit. Fascism should not be accepted anywhere in any form. We’re all human, let’s just leave it at that!

      Why?

Toning down pro-DEI rhetoric is one thing, but why discourage it altogether?

Are they going to pull the companies out of Ireland and lose that corporate tax?

The EU needs to deploy the anti-coercion instrument. AKA the big bazooka. But it won’t.

    9. We should go ahead and enrich or DEI now to above 60%. Start the centrifuges!

That’s going to make Americans abroad unemployable.
They already have huge issues opening bank accounts due to IRS filing obligations that were placed on banks abroad. A lot of European banks won’t open an account for you if you’re a U.S. citizen, even a dual national.

If employing US citizens suddenly exposes you to a load of embassy threats and legal threats, I cant see many employers being overly keen on hiring them.

Most of the major US MNCs updated their DEI policies to ‘culture and inclusion’ policies well in advance of Trump’s inauguration. Just as wishy washy as before, except without certain hot words like ‘diversity’ and ‘equity’.

Also, anyone expecting ethical action from these businesses needs their head examined. The only reason they showed up to Pride or promoted gender equality was because their bottom line would’ve suffered if they didn’t. They’d be shopping gay people to the police under another regime.

What does the article actually say? Headline is very leading

This is the bollocks of dealing with the US, every 4 years you get rapid policy change. Dealing with the likes of Trump, nothing can be negotiated in fate. Only positive out of this is any company that is willing to change DEI policy from these thinly veiled treats should be boycotted.
