Sono sia rattristato che felice al display in cima al ponte di Dublino. Rattristati perché erano più numerosi dalla retorica spaventata e paranoica e felice che qualcuno si difendesse per ciò che è giusto.

There’s usually a counter-protest………….been to one at the GPO

    5. It was depressing to see how small the counter protest was. Where were the rest of you?

Fair play to all those who came out to take a stand against racism!

That said, at its core, this was two opposing demonstrations about the same thing… housing… with one side blaming immigrants whilst the other side is blaming the Government.

It saddens me to see Irish people marching under the Irish flag while protesting against immigrants. Us… Ireland… the nation that flung itself all over the world AND the land of the céad míle fáilte. It’s truly sickening.

If only they could see that their housing woes are caused by our impotent and disinterested Government we might be able to properly protest regarding to root of the issue… housing. But they won’t

I’m curious about these demonstrations. What are they hoping to happen? Has Ireland not already taken a stance with Palestine?
