Every single penny wasted in HS2 could have gone to upskilling a trade force nationally owned and then have them move about the county improving our infrastructure everywhere.
If we wanted to have people do trades to look forward to vital jobs that need doing we can make the jobs. This is what china did which let them build hospitals in what is basically a week.
We should drop the lie that we can make meaningful change in our country without managing it ourselves.
