The people are learning what happens if conspiracy theorists are in charge.

The tin foil hat lads are at it again, do they still think 5G causes COVID or have they moved on to 5G is mind control? The population of some parts of the UK really seems to get thicker and thicker with each passing day.

See folks, this is why we can’t have nice things. Too much stupid.

Is this 5G tin foil bellendism a uniquely UK thing? Spend a lot of time in Thailand and never heard of it here (mobile signal is also great even in arse-end-of-nowhere-buri)

There was a mast not too far from where I live that was regularly vandalised, when they upgraded it they moved it slightly so that the only property that overlooked it was a pub and it was no longer in the line of sight of some nearby (quite expensive houses). My own conspiracy theory is that the property owners were perpetuating the radiation conspiracy because they felt the mast was affecting house prices. There always seem to be more complaints about masts and even telegraph poles when they are visible from people’s homes.

Can we get the vandals to speak to the BBC with their identity disguised? It would be great to hear their demented reasons for doing this.

Reminds me of a local incident during the pandemic lockdown. A 5G mast had been placed just before the lockdown and one of the crazy locals decided to lift the manhole cover next to it and set it on fire…..believing 5G was the cause of Covid
The manhole had nothing to do with the mast but everything to do with the broadband connections to about 500 houses nearby….. it took months for it to be repaired due to the covid restrictions.

>He is due to meet those companies at Westminster on Wednesday, when he said he will ask them to find locations for masts “which are out of the way”.
Surely if the masts “are pretty out of the way” that they’re going to be far away from users, so a worse signal and more vulnerable to attack?
Surely the best places are those heavily covered by CCTV, high up on a building and in busy areas. Such as on top of a church steeple, shopping mall, hospital and police station? AAFIK phones no longer interfere with medical equipment, due to a change in phone design and frequencies. In the late 90s and early 2000s. Phones on the Cellnet/O2 and Vodafone networks using the 900Mhz frequency regularly used to cause problems with pub TV projectors. Whenever they started to receive a call. Usually during a football match and at the worst possible time, such as a penalty shoot out. But you just don’t get that any more.

It makes you wonder if this was the ultimate aim of those with deep pockets who fund or back conspiracy theory ideas? To break down communication, instill fear and also religion. To literally drag us back to the medieval times one fear at a time.

Fuck sake, thought we had moved on from this since lockdown. The people peddling these conspiracy theories should be prosecuted along those committing these arson attacks.
