      I have no intention of going back to the US, the world is full of more welcoming places.

      The visas they mention are students and exchange visas so if anyone is a student reading that, make sure you are certain you really want to be going to America….

      I’m confused… aren’t the Irish part of the US VISA Waiver programme? Isn’t the ESTA approval form all they need? When I travelled to the US couple of years ago, that’s all I needed and had no contact with any US embassy in the process…

      This is not new. Even under the Biden admin, they wanted to look at your social media activity to make sure you are not a threat to society. I always gave them my LinkedIn only and said that’s all I have which is true to some extent as I don’t really use any of the other Anti-Social media.

      Happy I got to visit the U.S. a bunch of times and a few different states years ago. Doesn’t seem unlikely I’ll never go back there again. Not that it was on top of my list atm as there are many nice places to go around the world. If work asked me to go I’d probably decline as well.
