      The powers that be are simply training people to accept less. We are entering a new dark age, but it’ll be great for GDP figures.

      This seems normal enough to me? Shared rooms is pretty commonplace for student accommodation around the world.

    4. Hmm…very shortsighted to have twin rooms, when at the same time we are facing a demographic problem. Back in my day this would have put a serious damper on procreation….

      That’s normal, sharing facilities is part of it being student accommodation. The question is, will it be affordable?

      Seems like the government is trying to make it as awkward as possible for young people to get “the ride”.

      Or even just to have healthy relationships where couples can bond in private and deeper connections develop.

      Treating adults like kids and ending up with a generation that’s emotionally and developmentally stunted. Who find it increasingly difficult to adapt to the adult world.
