Been going on in the UK for a long time.
Not sure how you close the loophole with the green cert being active..you can’t stop someone from buying land

“D-Fourmers” was right there. It even sounds like Ross O’Carroll Kelly saying “farmers”.
In Ireland you need to be a qualified farmer to inherit the land with the 90% discount and farm it for x number of years. We actually have a fairly clever rules. It can still be a tax dodge to some extend but it requires little timmy to get qualified and actually invest in farming to make it happen, so its less appealing.
The wealthy, eh? such a bunch of scallywags. What will they think of next?

They don’t need to. But they’re going to wreck farming for a tax break so wee Pisslington never has to actually work, just harass tenants for the rest of his absolutely parasitic existence.
