When I was in college, there was a dog that can only be a Samoyed husky (it was the most friendly, fuzziest thing you had ever seen) who used to greet me at the train station every day, and walk down the road with me to the college entrance.

I’ve no idea who owned the dog as it didn’t have a collar or anything but it must have lived on the road between the two locations. It literally just turned up, came over to say hello, and let me pet it, and for the 4 straight years I was in college it would be there waiting when I walked out of the station.

I still think of that happy little fluffball every now and again.

    2. There’s a cat that lives at the end of my street that’s incredibly friendly and trusting; took just a couple days of walking past it before it let me pet it, and now it’s almost always up for a bit of a fuss when I see it.

      Wonderful creatures.

As long as he doesn’t high five them and distract drivers, right?

    4. ‘it’s kind of a very complicated bond, she’s a very strange cat’ 😂
