Poland is going crazy. Why can only they have populist autocrats that actually build the economy?

We will trade you Smer for PiS.

It’s interesting that Greece, Spain, Portugal, and Poland all had large minimum wage increases this year…. almost as if you give more money to the working class the economy does better.

      Edit: Adding the link
      [https://www.eurofound.europa.eu/en/data-catalogue/minimum-wages/national-minimum-wages-2025](https://www.eurofound.europa.eu/en/data-catalogue/minimum-wages/national-minimum-wages-2025)

All the countries growing the most had the highest minimum wage growth.

Denmark growing despite stagnation in Germany tells us something has changed in the Danish export markets. Just a decade ago 1/5 of the Danish export and import was with Germany. Now it is getting closer to 10%

    5. Georgia is growing the fastest? They must be doing something right, GJ.

It’s so funny seeing this literally while overhearing Polish news outlet talking about how the government sold entire Poland, and EU is destroying our economy (with Green deal)

Wonder if russias growth will increase even more with the iran-isreal conflict stil going on. Honestly we’ve been waiting years for oil prices to go down to strangle the russian economy yet its all for naught…

i wonder what Germany’s economy would look like if there hadn’t been any sanctions on Russia

    14. Bruh, we have an election next year in April. The amount of public money that’s gonna be channelled into their campaign is something we’ve never seen before, even if our economy is in shambles. 1.4 is too generous.

When your economy is shit, it’s quite easy to have a big growth. Poland is doing fine but for how long can it last? I guess Germany hit the ceiling and don’t have that much space to grow. When you’re at the top, it’s so much harder to go further up.
