      This opens up another can of worms – if this becomes a trend, I can’t see why European armed forces aren’t going to Ukraine to “train” right alongside their Ukrainian newfound specialists

      There’s a lot of speculation going on here. Cross training already happens all the time between the two countries so that’s not unusual. The Chinese also have military observers in Russia already. It seems a bit of a leap to assume that this new batch would be actually involved in the fighting.

      On the surface Chinese military branches strive for efficiency and somewhat modern thinking. They’ll likely have analysed the war better than Russia has managed to so this is likely more of a sop to badly humiliated Russian pride than anything else.

      The bloody Russians and Ukrainians are the only ones in the world who have experience of conventional peer-to-peer conflict with usage of drones in mass. Russia and Ukraine *both* have had massive research developments in that sphere, including not only equipment but tactics and strategies. And other countries must and do study that experience.

      Laughing at them just diminishes the reality of situation, for a cheap self-indulgent laugh.

      Seeing all these emotional comments makes me smile. The question is how many of these commenters actually check on Ukrainian war, it’s development etc. Truth is that Russia gained lots of experience, especially in DRONE usage/strikes which may be beneficial for anyone seeking for this KNOWLEDGE. Apart from that, they know how conventional equipment, for example – armored vehicles perform in such circumstances.

      But hey, “meatwaves, hue hue hue, I am so funny and have no clue LOL, they lost so much tanks hue hue hue”.
