>A MAN who sexually assaulted an underage girl is beginning a 12-month jail sentence.
>Bradford Crown Court heard how Daniel Zubrzycki first squeezed the girl’s bottom before putting his hand inside her underwear to touch her naked buttock.
>Afterwards, he apologised and told her, “Don’t tell anyone.”
>Zubrzycki, 36, must also register as a sex offender and is subject to a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
>He was convicted of the offence by a jury following a trial.
>In a handwritten statement read to the court on her behalf, the victim referred to the incident as “my nightmare” and said that it had left her overwhelmed with high levels of anxiety.
>She said: “I don’t feel like me anymore. I feel like something has been taken away from inside me.”
>She said she found everything a struggle, including sleeping, rarely left the house, and was worried by everything.
>She said she felt “like a part of me had been stolen” and added: “Not a day goes by when I don’t feel low or upset.
>“This has changed my life forever and will stay with me forever.”
Sentencing Zubrzycki, His Honour Judge Jonathan Rose said the victim had been left “terrified and horrified” by his assault, which only came to light when her mother saw Snapchat messages between the victim and a friend.
>The police were then informed.
>Judge Rose said Zubrzycki denied a sexual assault had taken place or that he had a sexual interest in children and that he continued those denials “to this day.”
>He added: “You show no signs of remorse.”
>Quoting from the victim’s statement, he said: “I feel like something has been taken away from me.
>“She may well be referring to her innocence.
>“The impact on this child is very significant and ongoing.
>“Whilst the incident itself was relatively brief in nature, the damage that you have caused is [also] significant and ongoing.”
>He said that by telling the girl not to tell anyone, Zubrzycki, of Princes Avenue, Withernsea, was “taking steps to prevent the victim reporting the matter.”
>Handing Zubrzycki a 12-month sentence, Judge Rose said: “I have no doubt whatsoever that only an immediate sentence of imprisonment is appropriate for an offence of this gravity.”

So what is that, 12 month sentence, down to 1/3 on good behaviour… 4 months for molesting a child.
Lucky he didn’t post some naughty words on Twitter, he’d be in real trouble!

What the fuck is happening to this country. Genuinely hate turning on reddit/social media these days. It’s infuriating

Don’t worry guys, if there is a riot he would immediately be released.

I know people disagree on what should be permissible in terms of speech but do you not literally think it’s insane that a man can rape a child and get less time in jail than someone who said something violent?
Sentencing guidelines need to be revised before yesterday.
It’s shocking how little punishment these people receive. We’ve had paedophiles with literally thousands of CSA images be given suspended sentences.
Take some of the budget and build the biggest prison this country has ever seen. No more light sentences for crimes like these.
