I understand a lot of people want the nostalgia trip and listen to Manson but it’s quite difficult to exclude the art when the venue is public and the artist reputation is messy. No way you would take a teenager to this and feel good about it.

“In January, California prosecutors said they would not file charges against Manson after a years-long investigation of sexual assault and domestic violence allegations.”
This ain’t even a case of “innocent till proven guilty”…they dropped the case.

Caveat (should be obvious to anyone) before any of the usual ‘politics in my music sandwich’ bullshit – politics and popular culture/sport have always been connected, heavily. That goes back decades.

You’d think a “senior” MP would have better things to do than highlight an irrelevant personality by subjecting us all to the trauma of their object permanence.
Let the market decide whether he’s successful or not.
