Russia’s crimes in Ukraine will not go unpunished. The Council of Europe has taken a decisive step by establishing a Special Tribunal to prosecute Russia’s senior political and military leadership for the crime of aggression against Ukraine.
Since the beginning of its full-scale invasion, the Russian Federation has carried out systematic and large-scale war crimes: the execution of civilians, the abduction and deportation of children, the destruction of residential areas, critical infrastructure, schools, hospitals, and cultural heritage.
Ukraine welcomes this initiative and will continue working with international partners to ensure that all those responsible are brought to justice. Accountability is inevitable.

All of them need to be punished to the fullest extent of the international law. Putin that guy needs a jail beneath the jail in hell

It’ll take maybe decades but it must and will be done.

Unless they send in people to literally kidnap him I don’t see how this could actually lead to anything different happening
Countries should send Ukraine all they’ve got and sanction Russia in every way possible and stop buying their Gas/Oil, it’s crazy that the EU is waiting until 2027 to do that, they should’ve stopped three years ago

yup. hope so. I think the future for us Democracies is assassinating dictators. They don’t give a shit about their own people, but they definitely do about themselves personallly and their families. So we (not Ukraine right now) but the rest of us should make it policy to assassinate problematic dictatorial world leaders. Of course, they will return the fire, but the strength of democracy is they could kill the first 5 in our hierarchy and then we still know the order of succession. And, while shocking. nobody would care too much. Putin would care a lot. Xi would care a lot. Democracy’s greatest strength is the expendibility of our leaders. Autocracy’s are the opposite. Why are we fighting the nation state of Russia? Why not threaten Putin personally? Something like: at some time, at some place, we will get you unless you stop?
