Unfortunately, even if it were to be an option, France would block it.

The hilarious thing is, the UK is growing faster than France and Germany is in its 3rd year of stagnation. What’s done is done. Move on ffs.

EU has opened the doors to draining brains from UK with its generous youth visa scheme.
Greens new policy might be to tag along with that momentum – Most greens supporters are younger.

While the list of Brexit benefits isn’t a massive list by any stretch, one of the few things that is a benefit is the current government (and loath as I am to say it, the previous one to a smaller extent) is doing things with green energy and environmental issues that were not possible while we were in the EU.
The very existence of GB Energy for example, is only possible because of Brexit, not to mention some of the many environmental and green energy legislation we have put into place that would have hit constant roadblocks were we still a member.
The UK doesn’t lead the way in many things, but green energy is one of them.
As quite a staunch environmentalist, it is a constant frustration, and has been for many years, that Greens with a capital G seem to fly in the face of being green and prefer to simply be political contrarians who don’t really give a damn about environmentalism.

Reads more like a Lib Dem pitch than a Green Party one.
I thought they’d be against frictionless movement of goods/services, since it’ll mean more polluting vehicles shipping said goods around?
Kinda random to suggest this on the 9th Anniversary. At least round it up to the 10th.

It’s all well and good asking for that, but we’ve kind of burned our bridges already.
We’ll never get back our original, superb, deal – we’ll be offered the worst deal possible. Give up borders, give up sterling, give up any sort of independence.

Whilst the Greens keep their utterly ridiculous stance on Nuclear Power they will never be a serious party.

Funny how these parties that hated Brexit are the ones that opposed joining it in the first place.

Whilst im for rejoining in the long run, the green party is a deeply unserious political party and am baffled anyone can take them seriously when they clearly dont even truly advocate for any reasonable green policies

Unfortunately, its currently looking more likely we will get fucking farage in power if the polls don’t change
It would be an unmitigated disaster

Ask yourself why so many new industries decide against headquartering in the EU. Why so much talent ends up in the US or Middle East. It is because the EU has drowned business in bureaucracy.
What i also find absolutely hilarious about the GREEN party is their desire for EU membership and freedom of movement. Correct me if i am wrong but the carbon footprint of labour movement is terrible? Maybe because UK Greens are essentially borderline communist?
