Più difensori ucraini sono tornati a casa oggi nell’ambito di uno scambio di prigioni di prigionia con la Russia. Il presidente Zelenskyy ha affermato che i soldati delle forze armate dell’Ucraina, della Guardia Nazionale e del servizio di guardia di confine statale erano tra quelli liberati.

Most had been in captivity since 2022.
I hate the fact that the Russians seem to shave everybodys hair, because it robs them of their individuality. I’m of course aware that this is very far from the worst thing about being a Russian POW, it is just one those little details that complete the bleak larger picture.
Anyway, I’m very happy for them that they’re home and I hope they can heal.
