So Azealia is a disgusting person and I think it’s completely reasonable for a promoter to want to have a shared political/moral frameworks with the artists they put on. That said, if they DO have this moral framework, why book her in the first instance? She says heinous things twenty or thirty times a day and has done so for years! Everyone knows this about her!

    3. >She added: “And no, I’m not saying f**k actual Palestine. But f**k your dumb a*s slogans and performative bulls**t. Yall wanna make a stance so bad but stand for absolutely nothing.

      Summed it up so nicely.

      Yeah ok good riddance

Although I do find some of the performative “Free Palestine” stuff pretty cringey, even as someone who thinks Israel’s actions are way out of line and that we should absolutely be supporting Palestine (and Lebanon and Syria and Iran for that matter) in not being attacked or occupied with zero consequences. Shouting “Free Palestine” on a stage in London does absolutely nothing to curtail Israeli aggression or the UK’s support for Israel.
