      Meanwhile in Sweden we are still in early spring/late winter

      Edit: I completely understand people that are roasting right now, especially having lived half my life on the Mediterranean sea. But you also may not realise that we have had no good weather at all (ok maybe 4days) since last summer. It’s nice now when hell has come loose, but another type of hell is constant here.

      European tourists have started coming TO Finland in the summer months instead of the Mediterranean region since Southern Finland always has pleasant temperatures during summer.

      Forecasts over one day or two can never be made reliable because weather is a chaotic system and fundamentally cannot be modelled for a long term. Let’s see how it actually is next week.

      Hm, I might have to double check my “I’d only use it 5 days a year” argument against AC… I’m very prone to heatstroke, I’m unsure what’s the safest thing to do when it’s that hot.

      Hmmm… it doesn’t add up. I see Amsterdam well below 30 and Barcelona just above 30 in all my weather apps.

      I don’t know what models you use, but with the reputable weather forecasts here in The Netherlands for the south I only see 33 C on Tuesday and 28 on Wednesday.

      Let’s see how it plays out, but I doubt we will see 39 C next week in NL.

      But from what I see what’s going on in Europe, it’s not that bad thing. perfect and comfort weather.

      I’m in my late thirties, but I still remember I time when northern France reaching 35°C would have been considered uncommon, and 40°C would have been considered ludicrous. And yet here we are, for the third time in five years.

      Must be some glich in this numerical weather model, rest of forecast models are 5°C lower for wensday.

      When were these forecasts made? Official current ones predict 32°C on Wednesday. Monday and Tuesday are the ones predicted to be hotter ones around 37-38°C. Same thing with Reims, right in the middle of the darkest area.

      The forecast for the Netherlands is a bit lower around 30C. At least but the coast. On the positivite side, my summer plants will have a blast!

      Sorry, living right at the top of the 9 of 39 and this is not the forecast. Forecast is 32, day before 33. Wednesday there is even a forecast of rain and thunder.

      The forecast for the south of the Netherlands is 33°C next wednesday. This is bullshit lol😂

      5-6 days forecast is very unreliable, especially for a parameter like 2m temperature. Wanna know how I know? Change the forecast model on Ventusky and see the range of temperatures you get for the same exact period.
