“Speaking after the incident, Coun Tarrant-Short said: “I was attacked by a member of the public that wasn’t happy I was a member of Reform UK, which resulted in him punching me repeatedly in the head.
“In my opinion this was a politically motivated attack. The matter is now with the police for them to investigate and don’t wish to comment further until the police have concluded their investigation.”
Remember everyone it’s the Reform voters who are the thick brutes.
Not a Reform fan by any stretch, but physically attacking them is awful and not going to have the outcome you’d like.
I’m fairly sure this is the origin story of most reform politicians.
Physical violence on any person is abhorrent doesn’t matter who they represent
They need hitting with facts, truth and accountability not fists.
Make the people you hate look like innocent victims, and make your side look like violent deranged thugs. This is an incredibly foolish way to oppose Reform.

The only reason this is politically motivated is because a member of a party known for lying to agitate their base says that a non descript citizen who he can’t remember the voice of was unhappy about his affiliation with reform.
It’s very… convientent…
Well if you promote hate you have to expect hate to come round looking for you too.
