Not just parents. I think I paid the value of a city break in Europe, on raffle tickets and sport sponsoring for colleagues and neighbors kids….not blaming them, but I don’t remember this being a thing ten or even five years ago….
Voluntary my hole. Principal in my kids school will hound you to the end of the earth if you don’t ‘voluntarily’ contribute.
