Fuck em. Sick of their shit. Time to find new trading partners in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Asia etc.
Need to diversify from that shit hole.

We been there before with him as president and exports to the US increased back then, despite tariffs. And even if it gets a bit bumpy 2026, when the recession that his policies create hit the US full front, he will be desperate to find some friends to help him out….

Well, considering the US is being run by an unstable megalomaniac with near-total executive power and no real checks or balances and a dysfunctional legislature that does his bidding, they’re very much stating the obvious.
Unfortunately, I think the US is entering a phase where it can no longer be considered a fully functioning representative democracy. They also currently are not really able to make international deals as they won’t be bound by them. I mean they’re not even basing their policy making on economic facts or data anymore. It’s just arbitrary decisions based on the wims of the leadership, twisted data and deliberate misinterpretation. I don’t know how anyone’s even supposed to even begin to interact with that.
US trade policy is going to very definitely be unstable until at least January 2029 at this point.
