Mi trasferisco a Vantaa da un’altra città e ho scelto di cercare posti su Qasa perché mi è piaciuto che non hai bisogno di pagare un deposito e puoi pagare l’affitto attraverso il loro sito Web per ulteriore sicurezza.
Di recente ho trovato un appartamento attraverso Qasa e ho parlato al proprietario al telefono. Sembrava carino e ha detto che prima è stato affittato ad altre persone. Ha anche detto che ci sarà il rinnovamento delle pipe d’acqua da ottobre a dicembre, e avrebbe metà dell’affitto in quei mesi – il che onestamente lo ha fatto sembrare più reale e non come un truffatore.
La sua personalità:
Abbiamo parlato al telefono. è finlandese e sembra genuino. È divertente in base al nostro breve convo e sa parlare un po ‘filippino. Ecco perché ha detto "Tuloi Kajo" che è Prego Che è Tagalog per avermi chiesto di venire a vederlo. È un Finn più vecchio, il suo profilo dice che è come 65+ ed è un utente verificato. È molto ragionevole e ha persino abbassato l’affitto per il primo mese.
Non mi sta affrettando a firmare nulla, ma sta chiedendo il mio nome completo e Henkilötunnus in modo che possa preparare il contratto. Ha anche detto che non è necessario alcun deposito, ma dovrei pagare l’affitto del primo mese prima di ottenere le chiavi, né tramite bonifico bancario né direttamente a lui.
Sono venuto in Finlandia solo l’anno scorso e ovviamente ho ottenuto il mio appartamento senza vederlo per primo, ma ho pagato attraverso una compagnia abitativa in modo che sia sicuro.
Questa volta sono un po ‘nervoso perché non ho visto il posto e non ho tempo per andare a Helsinki per vedere prima un appartamento – sono a 4 ore di distanza. Non sono sicuro che vada bene pagare l’affitto direttamente a un proprietario come questo, al di fuori di Qasa. Lo stesso sito web di Qasa dice di diffidare delle persone che non pagano attraverso il sito Web.

Qualcuno può dirmi se questo sembra sicuro? È normale qui pagare l’affitto in questo modo senza un deposito, e va bene inviare il mio Henkilötunnus prima di vedere l’appartamento o il contratto? O dovrei insistere che tutto rimane su Qasa? Non so se fa il bonifico bancario perché è vecchio e non sa come usare Qasa ..?

Only thing I’m a bit worried is that they’re trying to get money from you around qasa. That’s usually sign of a scam.
What kind of pipe renovation is it? If they renovate the whole line in the ”old” way, I dont think you want to live there during that. When it comes to your discussion with the landlord, you obviously need to see the contract before signing anything. Most landlords ask your henkilötunnus for making the contract. Personally, I would _never_ rent without seeing the landlord and the apartment, but you can take a calculated risk if you want. In your case the risk is 350 euroa and the upside is a condo you want.
I once checked an appartment through casa. The landlord told me straight away that casa has nothing to do with the renting. So he used it only as a platform.
I don’t really get it, isn’t a major point of using Qasa so you can pay and receive rent from Qasa directly?
The fact that he wants relatively small payment upfront and outside of Qasa rings a few alarm bells for me. He could very well be legit, but I don’t understand why he would have to do this. Why wouldn’t he just receive the first months rent via Qasa like all of the other ones too.
The ‘no deposit’ thing shouldn’t matter for this, right? If you as a renter can rent without deposit, if you wouldn’t pay or would suddenly disappear, isn’t the whole point that then Qasa would pay the landlord anyway, so he’s not in danger of losing money.
I would probably contact Qasa to ask if this is normal practice
Personally I would never rent without seeing the place first, but I understand why some people are in situations where they kind of have to.
