Gardinenschiene. You’re looking for Gardinenröllchen to thread into the recess and hang you curtains on. These must have some sort of (hidden) band sewn on the top to hook the Hook part of the Rider (Röllchen) into. Or you find some with little crocodile clamps which could just clamp on the top of the fabric (but doesn’t look as nice)
It’s a very common system in Germany. Some curtains are able to do both.
