      Didn’t we just get told by the Taoiseach that conversations on the budget with Chambers and Donohue were ‘sobering’? Couldn’t have been laying the ground work continuing to do nothing (remotely effective) about the housing crisis now could he?

      I think these tax receipts revenue is amazing but it’s going to be right sh!t show if these get curtailed.

      During the 1400s Venice boomed with tax receipts of its spice trade. Then Portugal discovered a sea route via Africa. Venice got screwed over big time. And history has an awful habit of repeating itself…

      This. And also let’s curtsil the tech companies who want to build data centers /s. I know the data centers themselves have few jobs, but supporting tech companies operating in the state leads to high paying jobs and makes Ireland a tech hub. If the tech and pharma companies left, we’d be goosed.
