Since I’ve been travelling and living abroad in various countries I’ve realised how homogenous our pigeon population is. In Poland for example every pack of pigeons seems to have a few white or brown ones.

I love the “Redditor went outside” flair because so often it’s somebody quite sweetly taking a moment to share the delight of some little everyday novelty like this. I think that’s really nice.

It’s pretty healthy looking, they might have come from someone’s loft (no leg tag though)

Brown pigeons are not uncommon among those owned by breeders/racers/hobbyists.
