President Vučić officially opened the Pakovraće–Požega highway section today, declaring it safe and allowing free use until mid-July.

However, reports reveal that key tunnel safety systems are still not operational. The project was built by the same Chinese company previously involved in the Novi Sad train station canopy collapse that killed 16 people. Despite ongoing concerns, the opening was presented as another major success.

Corruption is not bad. Corruption is only bad, if I’m not involved. But, if I’m part of that corruption, I’ll defend it!!

Why wait for safety when you can have a grand opening and a potential funeral all in one? Priorities I guess, corruption style actions going 2 far

Director of “Roads of Serbia” said openly on television, when asked about the rulebooks

“We don’t need rulebooks, we know its safe, i don’t even look at rulebooks”.

They said the same thing about the railway station, that was opened before they got the license for it, and canopy that killed 16 people which caused massive protests 8 months ago that are still ongoing.

“If safety is so expensive, then try having an accident”

although here it wouldnt only cost massive amount of money, but many lives too.

No engineer wanted to sign something related to that tunnel because it was not following some rule book. So, Vučić pusher parliament to declare that code book not valid anymore. We live in fucking North Korea. It is actually worse. Because it is North Korea ran by criminals.
