Meanwhile if you go fight for Israel, kill innocent civilians you can come back to the UK and the government will look the other way.

The cynical part of me is thinking this is a ploy by Palestine Action to get public sympathy.
Its quite possible to oppose what Israel is doing in Gaza without supporting the specific group named Palestine Action.

Congrats UK police on your incredible terrorist arrest! The Uk will sleep safe tonight due to the arrest of an 83 year old priest! /s
You’re a bunch of wankers.

Clearly on the same level as bin Laden and al-Baghdadi. Just look at her there. I’m getting Carlos the Jackal vibes.

Not going to pick your youngest and brightest to test the stick are you.

Yes, because she was openly supporting a terrorist group.

What does Jesus have to do with Israel or Palestine? That’s not the holy land.

Crazy. I think palestine first are idiots, but they’re not terrorists. Freedom of speech crackdown is even coming after the left now.

When Tommy Robinson was charged with a terrorism offence for not providing his phone unlock password, nobody blinked an eyelid, some people even celebrated it. Them be the rules now, apparently.

I mean fair enough right.
She’s not being arrested for opposing genocide, she’s being arrested for supporting a proscribed organisation that use extreme methods to strong arm the government into getting their way.
It doesn’t matter how old she is.

The planes that Palestine Action “attacked” have taken four flights since the “damage” from the paint. That 30 million pound damage seems to have been a myth. Meanwhile, activists in the past have done far more and been able to walk away from the charges after demonstrating they were preventing genocide.
We’re speed walking into fascism.
“In 1996 Seeds of Hope destroyed British aircraft manufactured for the Indonesian government which was committing genocide in East Timor. They were found not guilty of criminal damage.”
“Accused of causing, and conspiring to cause, criminal damage, with a maximum ten-year sentence, they pleaded not guilty arguing that what they did was not a crime but that they “were acting to prevent British Aerospace and the British Government from aiding and abetting genocide”, referring to the genocide taking place in East Timor. They were found not guilty of criminal damage at Liverpool Crown Court, after a jury deemed their action reasonable under the Genocide Act 1969. This made it the first Ploughshares action to result in a not guilty verdict.”

Proves you can be an idiot at any age, and Palestine Actions actions line up with Russia’s a little too closely given they attack assets that have little to do with Israel. But this again raises the question why the migrant boat merchants and their NGO supporters are not also tackled as a terrorist threat and taken out given the move toward migration being recognised as a national security issue (finally). It shows the government can move decisively when it actually bothers to.

As an FYI, Plastine Action was funded through donations by members and supporters. The single largest donor is a chap called James ‘Fergie’ Chambers. Who can be safely described as a full-blown Russia loving tankie complete with a nice home in Russia and all the bad tattoos. His X timeline makes it pretty clear that he loves a dictatorship. The more violent and genocidal the better. The suspicious would be wondering exactly whose’s money is being donated…

Glad to see some variation, at least it’s not historic sex offences.
