Saw so many videos of this, looked like an amazing night.

Just a shame Axl Rose sounded like Micky Mouse. Otherwise it was a great showing.

In fact, they went out on such a high that by the end, the drugs started getting high off Ozzy and Black Sabbath.

I’ve seen Black Sabbath’s set, looked good! Smart move having him sit in that big throne.

    5. Yungblud singing Changes with ii (Sleep Token) on the drums – nice to see the new talent given space. Oh and Lzzy Hale, she never ceases to amaze me. Awesome voice.

Just here to remind everyone that Ozzy has yet to be recognised with even an MBE. In my humble opinion, The Prince of Darkness, the creator of Heavy Metal should be one of the King’s Knights. It’s not like Elton, McCartney or Jagger never misbehaved. Ozzy is one of the UK’s most iconic and successful living artists, and is internationally popular. It was Sir Bruce Forsyth ffs!! He deserves an honour before it’s too late. He rejected a Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame honour because it wasn’t from the fans, so his fans need to demand he gets one from the King. He’s been a huge influence on British culture and world music for over half a century, and one of Birmingham’s finest.

I tried to get tickets but was already out of the running when I got into the online queue. For such a monumental event, it is a shame there was no TV coverage, like a livestream on iPlayer. Heavy metal does not get the mainstream recognition it deserves, even when the god of heavy metal is finally retiring.
