These polls from businesses are always very negative. It’s the default for them.
The insane thing is that National Insurance was cut by the Conservatives as a temporary measure. Labour simply put it back to what it was, and now its a “tax hike.”
Given all I hear is ‘use AI’ and ‘how much more can we offshore to India’, I’ll take the hiring confidence down to tax hikes with a huge pinch of salt.
