That’s something! Now if I could get literally anywhere in the country from Mullingar that doesn’t involve going in to Dublin and back out again that would be sick.

    2. Of course these surges are happening. the public transport literally couldnt be any worse here. Even the most basic bus routes being introduced to towns will be used. Smaller towns have been crying out for these routes for years.

Yes, it’s great, so many more little buses going around. Credit where it’s due.

Shows that if you put transport services in place people will use it. The argument that there’s no demand for more public transport is over used. Yeah… people can’t use a service that doesn’t exist like…

Its funny, if we think of the last Government, in real terms there were vanishingly few achievements, housing is a worse mess than ever, health is a disaster, we haven’t enough teaching, and the country saw an explosion of anti-social behaviour.

The one area where there was actual improvement was public transport, and crucially public transport in the country side. And what did we do? Decimate the only part of the government that gave a shit about it, the Greens, and returned the other two parties to power.

It’d be funny, if it weren’t so depressing.

    7. As someone who lives in a small rural town and doesn’t drive, all the new services in the last few years are game changing.
