    1. I just LOL’ed at how different the Netherlands sound. Nearly all are recognisable, but that one is totally different. I assume it is the Romanian translated equivalent for ‘the low countries’?

      And secondly, Jos is a not uncommon first name in the Netherlands, which makes it even weirder for Dutch people.

      Mainland France (with Corsica) is 552.000km² without the overseas regions.

      I just looked at the Iceland – it has got 101.000 km2.

      It would be right there in the middle – between Bulgaria and Hugagry. Crazy how huge it is compared to other countries.

      Really shows the insane population density of Netherlands. Smaller than Denmark, with three times its population.
