    1. > The training will be provided by LOM Praha, a state-owned aviation company, which will offer up to 150 flight hours for a maximum of eight Ukrainian pilots by the end of 2026.

      > Although the Czech military does not operate F-16s, the program will combine simulator-based instruction and flights on L-39 subsonic aircraft, which are available at the company’s training center in Prague.

Does not seem to be a huge deal, but most certainly a nice gesture and certainly helpful.

The training is comparable to what Ukrainian pilots get when in countries which don’t use the F-16 (e.g. Canada, UK). Namely it’ll be just some simulator time and flights with training jets.

This sound like just another program for basic training to bring up Ukrainian pilots on NATO-caliber gear.

For a person looking to fly fighter aircraft, any hours are better than zero hours. If the L-39 carriers the same avionics or similar avionics to that of the F-16 it can allow fora subset of information to be trained into the pilot.

    4. The training center is actually located in Pardubice, not Prague.
