Shouldn’t we be talking about drone numbers in the 10,000s at least?
1000 drones is close to what Russia is using per attack!
Whilst I get that these will be somewhat more advanced drones, that might cost more than what Russia is using, isn’t the whole idea of drone warfare to be cheap and built on mass?
That is not in any sense of the word. Article says multi million euro deal to get 1000 microdrones for training.
Makes sense that they’re leaving the over engineered eurodrone that has been in stasis for the last decade. Ukraine has shown what the future battlefield looks like.
Ukraine is already years ahead of any western country in drone production but letting them shit out drones for us at 90% of the cost would be too intelligent.
I wonder how long it took to use the last 1,000 drones used in Europe alone.
